Who?

Huerfano School District RE-1 schools including Peakview and John Mall Jr/Sr High put on a big parade to celebrate homecoming!

What?

Floats, marching band, candy, and more!

Where?

Main St in Walsenburg!

When?

10/7 Parade line up is until about 12:55pm; we have to make sure to roads are clear and safe. The parade will commence right about 1pm. Make sure you don’t need to come down Main St during time! After the parade is over the band will be performing right outside of the community center. Students then have an opportunity to partake in a safe, controlled Smash Car event.

*Parents – Please pick your children up at the community center at 2pm (not from the High School).

Why?

This a community tradition to show school spirit and to have some fun!

How?

The students and their class sponsors spend all week decorating their floats. Only eligible students with a signed parent permission slip are allowed to participate.

Don’t forget!

Homecoming game is 7pm that day (10/7) at the football stadium vs Hoehne. Tickets are $5 at the gate and wear your Panther gear.
